Policy of Promotion and Practice for ESD in schools of Japan

Abstract: This study was aimed to explore the strategies and outcomes for promoting and implementing ESD in schools of Japan by literature review. Firstly, it was explained the main ideas of ESD and education policies of promoting ESD in Japan. Then the strategies and outcomes of promoting and practicing ESD in schools of Japan were offered. In the end, the inspiration from the results of exploring strategies and outcomes of promoting and practicing ESD in schools of Japan was offered as the reference for Taiwan government.
